The
National Rifle Association's Bisley Camp is only minutes from junction 3 of
the M3 and a main line station at Brookwood (4 trains an hour to Waterloo).
London Heathrow is also close at hand.
The Camp itself dates back to the early 1890's when some of its historic
buildings were transferred to their present location from the first national
shooting range on Wimbledon Common. The Camp stretches over a wide
area and includes some designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
Much of it has lain virtually undisturbed for over 100 years and is a quaint
mixture of the Victorian and modern eras. Guests will certainly come
to appreciate why it holds such a special place in the hearts of marksmen
and women all over the world.
